- Develops and owns S2P strategies and action plans related to
supplier enablement, catalog development, contract management, data
governance, and user adoption.
- Influences stakeholders and suppliers to ensure S2P
transformation success (supplier on-boarding and adoption of SAP
Ariba platform, catalog usage, availability of sourcing data,
etc.).
- Seeks to deliver a world-class user experience of the S2P
application by providing outstanding buying support. Engages with
application users frequently to resolve buying issues and provide
further education / enhanced knowledge of the application and its
processes. Engages internal IT team and/or SAP Ariba team to help
solve technical issues.
- Accountable for collaboration with external partners
(application teams, consulting partners, banking institutions) to
drive success in supplier adoption campaigns.
- Delivers business continuity by ensuring suppliers are set up
to transact with Gordon Food Service through S2P application;
ensures the usage of preferred suppliers by filtering out supply
options that aren't a network fit.
- Owns direct contact with suppliers and follow through
(collaborating with Finance for administrative on-boarding).
- Influences and leads stakeholder groups throughout the company
(including US, Canada, Stores, and Strategic Alliances) to ensure
stakeholder consistent usage of preferred suppliers. Develops
communication strategy and tactics to ensure engagement with key
stakeholder groups including GFS Operations teams. Escalates missed
value/savings opportunities, engaging appropriate managers and
leaders when needed in order to drive adoption.
- Develops effective tools and reporting (to be used in
Leadership-level report-outs) to track progress toward S2P
transformation goals.
- Develops and owns PCard strategy; fully accountable for
establishing an effective and efficient PCard program in
collaboration with GFS Finance.
- Influences stakeholders, suppliers, and GFS Finance to ensure
PCard program success (maximized PCard spend, strong supplier and
user adoption, consistent preferred supplier compliance).
- Accountable for data collection and analysis; distills
information into usable reporting for Indirect Category Manager and
Lead Category Buyer usage, including Competitive Market Review
(CMR) process.
- Owns analysis of indirect spend (data mining) to categorize
spend and identify potential new category review
opportunities.
- Owns monitoring of PCard purchasing activity to identify
potential indirect compliance issues (purchases through
non-preferred suppliers) and collaborates with internal
stakeholders to address and remedy missed opportunities, escalating
to Leadership when needed.
- Develops effective tools and reporting (to be used in
Leadership-level report-outs) to track PCard spend and performance
against rebate goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.Our ideal candidate will
have:
- 2+ years previous experience in any of supply chain, finance,
or applicable equivalent with demonstrated ability to develop
business acumen in previous role(s)
- Internships and college classes may be considered in lieu of
experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (ie. pivot tables, vlook-ups,
macros, formula creation)
- Customer service experience
- Experience with S2P applications such as SAP Ariba, Ivalua,
Coupa, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or
