Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter in the Specialty
Human Services Division.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite renewals for an assigned book of business, ensuring risk
selection, pricing, and profitability
Analyze coverage requests and maintain high levels of customer
service while meeting new business production goals
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and
external customers to attract and retain profitable business
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Liberal
Arts, or a related discipline
Generally, 3 to 6 years of related experience in underwriting
Progression toward certification in the area of expertise is
preferred (e.g., AU, CPCU, CIC, INS, ARM)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other
business-related software
