Job Summary Corewell Health Infectious Disease offers an
excellent full-time opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider.
A successful candidate will have the ability to work independently
and make solid medical decisions. This position plays an integral
role of the Infectious Disease (ID) team and works collaboratively
and cohesively with ID physicians.
- APP will be responsible for both inpatient and outpatient care
of Infectious Disease
- Key functions include performing consultations, subsequent
care/rounding, assessment and treatment plans
- 4 - 9 hour shifts plus 1:4 weekend
- Team based approach
- APP will work with other providers and members of healthcare
team to deliver quality and safe patient care Qualifications: Nurse
Practitioner:
- Required Master's Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their
education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of
completion of a master's, post-master's or doctorate from a Nurse
Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the
Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing
Accrediting Commission
- 3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical
experience
- Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a
Nurse Practitioner
- LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) Physician Assistant:
- Required Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician
Assistant educational program
- LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan
- CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission
on Certification of Physician Assistants
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
