Job Description:

At Enlightened Recovery, we provide exceptional medical and clinical services. We are seeking LPN's for Full Time, Part Time, and PRN! Day Night Shift available! 7a-7p Shift Differential offered.

The Nurse/LPN duties generally include providing routine care, observing, medicating, performing withdrawal assessments (COWS, CIWA-A), as needed, assisting doctors and registered nurses, and communicating with patients and their counselor and therapist.

Interacts routinely with patients, observes behaviors, and communicates significant observations to the multidisciplinary team as necessary.
Assists RN in facilitation of admissions and discharge planning.
Collects and records patient's vital signs, and documents in the electronic medical record in a comprehensive accurate and systematic manner.
Assists RN in triage of screening patients.
Participates in patient treatment planning.
Completes the admissions process from body search to assessments
Completes initial nursing assessment (A-1) within 24 hours of the patient admission
Administers medications to patients and engages in education process.
Assesses patients' needs to see a provider for H&P, discharge, if needed for medications or illness.
Supervises and instructs patients in medication administration/self-administration, including the preparation and giving injections as ordered by the medical provider.

Education

Graduate from an accredited college or university with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Vocational training could be substituted for a degree.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year experience at a substance abuse program or equivalent, preferred.

A minimum of 2 years in recovery, if applicable

Licensure/Certification

Current and in Good Standing State Licensed Practical Nurse. Maintains current CPR certification.

Security Measures and Clearance

State and Federal Background Check, Education verification, prior employment verification, pre-employment drug screen and physical, and License Verification.
