Job Description:
A company is looking for a Utilization Review Nurse Specialist
for Georgia Workers' Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Complete precertification of medical requests and ensure compliance
with URAC guidelines
Document and compose letters as per protocol, including final
reports and recommendations
Serve as a patient advocate while adhering to legal, ethical, and
accreditation standards
Required Qualifications
RN or LPN with a minimum of three years clinical experience in
various hospital specialty units
At least two years of experience in Utilization Review in Workers'
Compensation or related fields
Certification in Utilization Review (e.g., CPUR, ABQUARP) is
preferred
Proof of current State Licensure
