Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Reviewer III, responsible
for conducting treatment record reviews and analyzing clinical
documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Review charts and analyze clinical record documentation
Prepare monthly performance reports and assist in quality
improvement activities
Provide training and support for QI Clinical Reviewer staff
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
RN/BSN or clinical credentials in a behavioral health field; if not
an RN, must hold a Master's or Doctoral Degree and be a licensed
behavioral health professional
7 or more years of experience in a clinical, psychiatric, and/or
substance abuse healthcare setting
Minimum of 4 years of experience conducting utilization management
according to medical necessity criteria
Knowledge of ICD and DSM IV coding or the most current edition
State licensure as a clinical social worker, independent social
worker, marital and family therapist, or professional clinical
counselor
