Located in Forest Hills, our team of experienced professionals is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming environment for every patient.Job OverviewWe're seeking a skilled Dental Health Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you'll play a vital role in promoting oral health and preventing dental decay among our patients.Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a comfortable and supportive experience from start to finish.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments using our state-of-the-art iTero 3D scanner and digital photography equipment.
  • Chart conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by our dentist.
  • Apply fluorides and cavity-preventing agents to prevent dental decay.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Prepare hygiene rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
  • Partner with our providers and team to implement systems and maximize office workflow.Benefits and Perks

      • Current dental hygienist license in Michigan and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
      • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
      • CPR Certification.
      • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
      • Excellent communication and organizational skills.Preferred Experience
        • 1+ years of clinical experience.
        • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
        • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.Physical Requirements
          • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
          • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
          • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
