Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Pro Fee Coder for Hospitalist
services.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality E/M coding and surgical coding for assigned
Hospitalist encounters
Maintain accuracy in coding with a target of 95% while managing
productivity standards
Review and resolve coding-related denials from payers based on
guidelines
Required Qualifications and Education
High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu
of diploma/GED
3+ years of coding experience specific to the Hospitalist
specialty
AAPC Certification CPC
Experience with bedside procedures, critical care, and Observation
coding
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding principles and guidelines
