The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $103,563 - $132,600 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You will Do In This Role:

• Complete the design of complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
• Complete complex material specification, schematic preparation and appropriate follow-up.
• Complete recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.
• Perform complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.
• Identify and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills to deal with most situations.
• Perform modifications and upgrades.
• Complete project schedules and budget for mechanical engineering functions.
• Lead multiple projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines within a project team.
• Perform project engineering and commissioning at customer sites.
• Communicate, trains and works with customer for final system design.
  
  What We Are Looking For:
  
  
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field and five years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer or related occupation in the material handling automation industry.
    
  • Requires three years' experience with CET Maestro; Amazon-specific installation types (sortable, non-sort, AR, IXD, SSD, Air Hub );
    
  • 3 years experience with legacy equipment (Tube Sorter, Slat Sorters, Mechanical Sensors);
    
  • 3 years experience with current commercialized conveyor catalogue (Transportation/Accumulation, Slat Sorters, Crossbelt, MDI) ;
    
  • two years' experience with Autocad; Amazon-specific MTBH and rates associated with typical systems and sub-systems; Amazon design specifications; and project-based work (design to installation).
