Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr. Pharmacy Underwriter to enhance
pharmacy underwriting capabilities and support financial modeling
and pricing strategies for self-funded clients.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and recommend pharmacy revenue strategies for self-funded
customers
Collaborate with Sales and Proposal teams to project pricing and
profit for PBM services
Build and maintain financial models for economic analysis of market
alternatives
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years of job-related
work experience)
6 years of underwriting experience
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business,
Healthcare Administration, Statistics, or Mathematics
Preferred specialized training in insurance coursework (FLMI, HIAA,
or BCA)
7 years of preferred underwriting experience
